In May we held our summer broker forum at the Tower of London — an event dedicated to giving our broker partners an update on the latest developments from Aetna International, as well as discussing wider industry topics and the future of health care.
For such an important event, you’d be hard pressed to find a more memorable place, this venue couldn’t fail to impress. ‘You’ve outdone yourself this time!’, one attendee commented.
The iconic backdrop set the scene for an engaging and productive afternoon.
Where we took the opportunity to launch Aetna DNA, a health and lifestyle genetic test for our European members as an add-on part of our wellness plans. It’s a development that fits perfectly with our personalised approach to well-being.
We were joined by the former Olympic track medallist, Andrew Steele, who spoke engagingly about the highs and lows of his own career, and how understanding our personal sensitivities to nutrigenomics (the relationship between what we eat and our biochemical response), sleep, stress and fitness can set us on an effective path to holistic well-being.
People that attended the event are on this path already, as they had the chance to carry out the genetics lifestyle test there and then.
You can access our white paper on how personalisation is transforming health here and the Aetna DNA launch press release here.
