‘vHealth at Home’: a new service for our members in London zones 1 - 4

‘vHealth at Home’ eases access to primary health care for members visiting, living or working in London zones 1 – 4 enabling them to book in-person doctor or physiotherapy consultations at a location of their choice, such as their home, workplace or hotel.

During working hours (8am to 10pm), a GP or physiotherapist could be at your door within four hours of booking — and often quicker.

Delivered by Qured, a revolutionary health care company specialising in delivering primary care doctors where needed, the ‘vHealth at Home’ service will be available seven days a week, 365 days a year.

If bringing a GP or physiotherapist on-site is more convenient for your employees, ‘vHealth at Home’ can also provide discounted health care events, including check-ups and consultations, at your office. Click here for more details around the services and costs of these corporate clinics, or email hello@qured.com for more information.

Appointments can be booked the same day or next day using the Qured website or app and up to 8 days in advance via the app or by phone. For GP appointments and during working hours, the assigned doctor will phone within 10 minutes for an initial assessment, to provide reassurance and ensure it is not a case for emergency services.

During the appointment, the visiting primary care doctor will be able to provide everything you’d expect from your regular GP consultation. Doctors will be both GMC-registered and NHS-trained and be able to assess and treat minor illness and injuries, provide prescriptions and sick notes, take blood draws and make referrals when appropriate.

Being able to have a fully qualified GP or physiotherapist come to you and consult face-to-face addresses a well-documented gap in the current marketplace. A recent survey revealed that two in five employees are worried about their long-term health but haven’t had a health check in the last year, and almost a quarter (23%) cite a lack of time as the reason. There has also been a 15% increase year-on-year in patients waiting a month for a GP appointment.

‘vHealth at Home’ is redeemable against outpatient benefits.
