The International Care Management is a team of member service and clinical care specialists who work with you to coordinate your health care, from pre- and post-assignment coordination to acute and chronic care management.

Send a message to the team or call the Member Services number on the back of your Aetna member ID Card and ask to speak with an International Care Management clinician.

Before you travel


In addition to working with our care management team, there’s more you can do to prepare for your travel or move to another country. Here are a few important things you can do to get ready:

    • Set up and activate your account with plan number: AETNAINTL
    • Relax knowing you’ll receive up-to-the minute information plus instant support in a crisis
  5. Get tailored care management guidance to keep you healthy and informed
    • Send a message to the team or call the Member Services number on the back of your Aetna member ID Card and ask to speak with an International Care Management clinician.
    • Consider preparing a list of health needs or questions you have to discuss with your assigned care manager
