Aetna International Named "Health Insurer of the Year"

 

1st Middle East Insurance Industry Awards salutes excellence

DUBAI, 4 December 2014: Aetna International has been named Health Insurer of The Year at the 1st Middle East Insurance Industry Awards held in Dubai.

“This award recognizes our position as a leader in global health care coverage and the value our customers place on our deep expertise and differentiated product offer,” said Richard di Benedetto, President, Aetna International.

Aetna International is one of the largest providers of international private medical insurance with more than 600,000 members worldwide, including expatriates, local nationals and business travelers. The Middle East Insurance Industry Awards aim to recognize excellence in the industry. The award winners were determined by a judging panel comprising 25 domestic, regional and international leaders in the insurance industry, led by an independent auditor. These Awards are supported by the Dubai International Financial Centre in conjunction with its 10th anniversary this year.

This is the latest achievement for Aetna International following a number of recent accolades including: the "International Insurer of the Year" award at the World Health Tourism Congress held in Dubai; Health Insurance Daily's Best Group International Private Medical Insurance Provider 2014, and Professional Adviser magazine's Best in Class for Commitment to Healthcare Support in the International Fund & Product Awards 2014.
