Growing globally, connecting locally: Celebrating a shared vision for MEA and APAC

Aetna International recently hosted a number of our valued intermediary partners from the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions at a four-day conference in Sri Lanka. The celebration event was designed to thank our broker partners, who work hard to support our business every day.

Held at the Anantara Kalutara Resort in early November, the event provided the perfect opportunity for David Healy, CEO, EMEA, and Derek Goldberg, CEO, APAC and their respective teams to engage and network with partners. The event’s theme "growing globally, connecting locally" perfectly reflects our vision for 2019 and beyond. Richard di Benedetto, President, Aetna International spoke about the next chapter for Aetna, and the CEOs also highlighted the local developments and achievements that have taken place in their regions over the last 12 months.

In a keynote speech, Dr. Sneh Khemka, President of Population Health Solutions, Aetna International, discussed the role of technology — in particular, virtual health — in the delivery of convenient, affordable, quality primary care.
