Looking ‘Beyond the horizon’ with our partners in Singapore
More than 130 brokers and agents turned out on 5th September for our annual cocktail party in Bar Rouge, which is situated on the 70th floor of Swissotel The Stamford. Flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing a stunning panorama of the Singapore skyline, our partners were treated to an evening of good food, a bespoke Aetna cocktail, as well as a show of great craftsmanship in the form of a personalised monogrammed keychain bearing Aetna’s logo.
Fun and games aside, the Singapore broker appreciation night is a way for us to continue to put faces to the names of the people we have been working with and to thank our partners for their continued support of Aetna International in Singapore.
The Aetna Singapore team was represented by members from our Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Operations, Underwriting and Member Services teams. Their presence enabled our broker partners to find out more about the organisation’s operations and developments in the region.
Derek Goldberg, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, shared in his welcome address that 86% of our membership has renewed in the past 12 months, and that total membership in Singapore has grown 17% since the start of 2018.
“This is both a reflection of satisfied customers and of our brokers’ support, without which this would not have happened,” he said. “I’m especially happy because we achieved these results while maintaining our pricing discipline, so our customers get sustainable insurance programs.”
Events like these are valuable opportunities for us to invest in our broker relationships, highlight our achievements in the past year, and find out what our brokers need and want most to help ensure their success in the region.
