Top honour six years running: Aetna International named ‘Best Group International PMI Provider’

We were thrilled to be named ‘Best Group International PMI Provider’ for the sixth year in a row at the annual Health Insurance Awards. It was incredibly heartening to see how much trust brokers put in our ability to meet clients’ needs. We were also thankful to make the shortlist for two other awards: ‘Best Customer Service’ and ‘Best Individual International PMI Provider’.

As the most prestigious event for industry professionals, the Health Insurance Awards ceremony and gala dinner took place on 18 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. In attendance along with several dozen key brokers we hosted were Aetna International President Richard di Benedetto; David Healy, Chief Executive Officer, EMEA; and Damian Lenihan, Head of Distribution, UK.

Winning this influential broker-driven award six times over underscores our commitment to our group customers as part of our larger mission — to build healthier communities by focusing on the preventative and wellness benefits that lead to healthier outcomes.

Celebrating broker excellence through sponsored awards

We were also proud to sponsor two intermediary awards —that meaningfully celebrates broker excellence. On the shortlist for ‘Best Group International PMI Intermediary’ were Global Albatross, Howden UK Employee Benefits, Medical Expenses Consulting (UK) and The Health Insurance Group (winner). Shortlisted companies for ‘Best Individual International PMI Intermediary’ included Global Albatross, Stackhouse Poland (winner) and The Health Insurance Group.
